The theme of this week is 'Child/Children' - so, plenty of childhood memories this week! There will be all the usual features including Pen's Featured Album, her Movie and Rock Picks, Doc's Ladies, What's Your Style?, Baron's Blockbusters, Rob's Sizzlers, Office Fairy Tales, All That Jazz-Fusion and Pen's Song Of The Week. We will have our usual Classical play-out and this week we have Benjamin Britten's The Young Person's Guide To The Orchestra ; Op. 34.
There will be plenty of rock tracks from the likes of AC/DC, Marillion, Iron Maiden, White Lion, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Axxis, Nightwish, Bob Catley and Dio. And plenty of blues, soft rock, pop and jazz -fusion from the likes of Kyla Brox, Janis Ian, Annie Lennox, Kate Bush, Barclay James Harvest, Simple Minds,Johnny Cash, Rory Gallagher, Return To Forever and Carlos Santana & Buddy Miles. And in the Chuckle Challenge we have a selection of children's theme tunes from TV and films.
