This week the play ‘Wot Dave Wrote’ is Ena Sharples Rides Again – (I kid you not!). So, expect plenty of suitably themed songs throughout the show about street(s)/ride(s)/Jack/Emily/pubs(s) etc.
This week Pen’s Featured Album is Backstreet Symphony by Thunder. Ann’s Man of the Week is Kenney Jones and her Formative Years track is from Roy wood. What’s Your Style has got Blues-Rock, Pop, Jazz, Northern Soul and Brass – all within the theme of the week, of course. There are 4 excellent tracks for Pen’s Rock Picks and, there are 3 in her Chill Out Zone later in the show. There will be all the other usual features (see Pen’s poster, below) and, as ever, our normal eclectic mix of music. There will be tracks from Jack Bruce, Joe Jackson, Curved Air, Richard Hawley, David Bowie, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, Traffic, The Outlaws, Joe Bonamassa, Bob Seger, Simon and Garfunkel and many more.
The show will finish with a bit of classical therapy with Richard Casey performing Maxwell Davis’ Farewell to Stromness.

And to start this week's show off at 3pm, we will have the brilliant Jack Bruce with Theme For An Imaginary Western.
