This week the play ‘Wot Dave Wrote’ is Country House Rescue – the story is basically about The English Upper Class meets American Hillbillies. So, expect plenty of suitably themed songs throughout the show.
This week’s Ann has done the Featured Album which is Country Life By Roxy Music. Pen has swapped her for Man of the Week – and has chosen a certain hunky Rock Country guy… but you are gonna have to wait to find out who!! What’s Your Style has got Blues-Rock, Jazz, R & B, and traditional Blues – all within the theme of the week, of course. There are 4 excellent tracks for Pen’s Rock Picks and, once again, there are 4 in her Chill Out Zone later in the show. There will be all the other usual features (see Pen’s poster, below) and, as ever, our normal eclectic mix of music. There will be tracks from Gabby Young, Al Stewart, Alison Kraus, Blur, Blackberry Smoke, Garth Brooks, Marshall Tucker Band, Beatles, All Kooper & Shuggie Otis, Procol Harum, The Highwaymen and many more.
The show will finish with a bit of classical Jazz therapy with Black Bottom Stomp from Jelly Roll Morton and his Red Hot Peppers.

Today, we will be kicking off with these superstars of the Outlaw Country sub-genre - The Highwaymen. Why not come and join us for loads of laughs, all the usual features and great (eclectic) music!
