As Dame Pen will be over in Benidorm, the theme of this week is 'Holidays'; so expect plenty of songs about flights, hotels, swimming pools, sunshine etc. There will be all the usual features including Pen's Featured Album, her Movie and Rock Picks, Doc's Ladies, What's Your Style?, Baron's Blockbusters, Rob's Sizzlers, Office Fairy Tales and Chuckle Challenge. Plus a new feature - TW3; 3 rock songs for our American listeners from the Twisted Wonderland crew. We will have our usual Classical playout and this week we have 'By The River' from Frederick Delius' Florida Suite as performed by The Ulster Orchestra.
This week the show will start at 2 pm and finish about 5.30 pm, so as to give me a break as I am also presenting The Dames Mix Up over on the CFRRock (aka The Dark Side) at 7 pm.
Hope you can join us at 2 pm on Thursday.
And kicking off today's show with the theme of 'Holidays' - what else could we play but this little ditty? Don't forget, show starts at 2 pm for this week and next.
