This week we have a theme based on the play ‘The English Psycho’ written by our very own International Playwright of Mystery (aka Dave). So, expect plenty of suitably themed songs throughout the show about mothers, hotels, motels, showers, evil etc.
This week Pen’s Featured Album is Mother Earth by Within Temptation. Ann’s Man of the Week is Richard Hawley and her Formative Years comes from Procol Harum. In What’s Your Style we will have Blues, Country and Classic Pop. There are 4 excellent tracks for Pen’s Rock Picks and, there are 3 in her Chill Out Zone. There will be all the other usual features (see Pen’s poster, below) and, as ever, our normal eclectic mix of music. There will be music from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Savage Garden, Three Days Grace, Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lou Reed, Stevie Nicks, Black Sabbath, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Gabby Young, Melissa Etheridge, Rebecca Downes and many more.
The show will finish with a bit of classical therapy with Dvorak’s Songs My Mother Taught Me performed by Julian Lloyd Webber and John Lenehan.
