A special event, as Classical Corner meets It's Progtastic.
First up, the stunning Planets Suite by Gustav Holst, performed by The London Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Sir Colin Davis.
Then Rick Wakeman, Jeff Wayne and Kevin Peek bring their Prog interpretation to the fabulous suite.
In all nearly 2 hours of fantastic music to rouse the soul and send the mind on a cosmic journey...
Morning Baron. Looking forward to this one! Will be finishing off the painting on the stairs but on at full volume, that's for sure.

MERCURY
The motifs in classical music can be traced right through to classic rock- by that I mean the themes of love and passion, sex and death, war and peace, life and decay- all with the same structure of musical development. Think Child of Time, Kashmir, Suite Sister Mary, Spiral Architects, Last in Line, Stargazer.... just bloody awesome.
That's so right, Baron... :)
and any similarity with the gol;den age Flash is accidental lol
