On the show this week:
Album on the WEEK: Counting down to BRS500, Album of the Week returns counting down to my Number 1 All Time Favourite Album. So this week it will be Number 21 in my all-time favourite albums chart, but which album is it? I'll give you a clue: It's an album full of innuendo-filled heavy rock and roll tunes from a band with a lead singer who has loads of songs for ya. Now, if that doesn't give the band away, nothing will! But what album is it??
Trinity: With the sad news of the passing of YES drummer Alan White, we have 3 from YES featuring the drummer.
First Look: The brand new single from The Petal Falls!
Rock Blitz: 5 songs back to back, no interruptions, all singalonga: This week it's Covered in Glory!, five cover songs so good we think they belong to the bands covering them rather than the original artists, but WHO are the artists and what songs will they be performing?
Live at the BRS: 3 live songs from to finish the show. This week we will have THREE from Iron Maiden. That's right folks, we're re-introducing the original live format.
All that, plus UFO, Nightwish, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, NightWing, Domain, Goddo*, The Doors, Mama's Boys (yes, still the one not played in the last 3 weeks lol), Nemesea, Marshall Tucker Band, Molly Hatchet, Black Sabbath, Burnt Out Wreck, Warrior, Joe Bonamassa, Heavy Pettin, Alan Parsons Project*, Rainbow, Heartbreaker, Doro, AC/DC, Y&T, and any more I might squeeze in.
Can't be bad value for a show that!
See you on Wednesday June 1st at 7pm on REVOLUTIONONE.
*also left over from last week!

Thank you folks, keep on rocking! Night night one and all.

I picked this song BEFORE the verdict did indeed come in :)
Another album that I would fall asleep with headphones on listening too
Should never have had to go through this, it's clear she is nothing but a money-grabbing psycho. Always has been.
Whooooo hooooo Johnny won !!!!!!!!!!!
Diamonds and Rust
Song by Judas Priest (originally by Joan Baez)
Well, I'll be damned Here comes your ghost again But that's not unusual It's just that the moon is full And you happened to call And here I sit Hand on the telephone Hearing a voice I'd known A couple of light years ago Heading straight for a fall
As I remember your eyes Were bluer than robin's eggs My poetry was lousy you said Where are you calling from? A booth in the midwest Ten years ago I bought you some cufflinks You brought me something We both know what memories can bring They bring diamonds and rust
Well, you burst on the scene Already a legend The unwashed phenomenon The original vagabond You strayed into my arms And there you stayed Temporarily lost at sea The Madonna was yours for free Yes, the girl on the half-shell Could keep you unharmed
Now I see you standing With brown leaves falling all around And snow in your hair Now you're smiling out the window Of that crummy hotel Over Washington Square Our breath comes out white clouds Mingles and hangs in the air Speaking strictly for me We both could have died then and there
Now you're telling me You're not nostalgic Then give me another word for it You who are so good with words And at keeping things vague 'Cause I need some of that vagueness now It's all come back too clearly Yes, I loved you dearly And if you're offering me diamonds and rust I've already paid
Since You Been Gone
Song by Rainbow (originally by Clout)
I get the same old dreams same time every night Fall to the ground and I wake up So I get out of bed, put on my shoes and in my head Thoughts fly back to the breakup
These four wall are closing in Look at the fix you put me in
Since you been gone Since you been gone I'm out of my head can't take it Could I be wrong But since you been gone You cast your spell so break it Oh oh, oh oh, oh oh Since you been gone
So in the night I stand beneath the backstreet light I read the words that you sent to me I can take the afternoon, the night time comes around too soon You can't know what you mean to me
Your poison letter, your telegram Just goes to show you don't give a damn
Since you been gone Since you been gone I'm out of my head can't take it Could I be wrong But since you been gone You cast your spell so break it Oh oh, oh oh, oh oh Since you been gone
If you will come back Baby, you know you'll never do wrong
Since you been gone Since you been gone I'm out of my head can't take it Could I be wrong But since you been gone You cast your spell so break it Oh oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh oh Ever since you been gone
Since you been gone Since you been gone I'm out of my head can't take it Since you been gone Since you been gone I'm out of my head can't take it
Absolute boomer of a cover version, you know how I feel about this.

Egypt (The Chains Are On) Doro
In the land of the lost horizon Where the queen lies dark and cold When the stars won't shine, then the story's told When the world was milk and honey And the magic was strong and true Then the strange ones came and the people knew That the chains are on In the land of no tomorrow Where you pray just to end each day And your life just slowly melts away Each day you hear the sand as it moves and whispers Come and sail on my golden sea Maybe one day you'll be just like me... and that's free But still your chains are on You've seen them walking on the water You've seen flying through the sky They were frightening in the darkness They had rainbows in their eyes When the world was milk and honey And the magic was strong and true The the strange ones came and the people knew That the chains are on

No Easy Way Out Beast in Black (originally Robert Tepper)
We're not indestructible Baby, better get that straight I think it's unbelievable How you give in to the hands of fate Some things are worth fighting for Some feelings never die I'm not askin' for another chance I just wanna know why There's no easy way out There's no shortcut home There's no easy way out Givin' in can't be wrong I don't wanna pacify you I don't wanna drag you down But I'm feelin' like a prisoner Like a stranger in a no-name town I see all the angry faces Afraid that could be you and me Talkin' about what might have been I'm thinkin' about what I used to be There's no easy way out There's no shortcut home There's no easy way out Givin' in can't be wrong Baby, baby, we can shed this skin We can know how we feel inside Instead of goin' down an endless road Not knowin' if we're dead or alive Some things are worth fightin' for Some feelings never die I'm not askin' for another chance I just wanna know why There's no easy way out There's no shortcut home There's no easy way out Givin' in, givin' in can't be wrong, no (There's no easy way out) there's no easy way out (There's no shortcut home) there's no shortcut home (There's no easy way out) there's no easy, no easy No easy way out (There's no easy way out) there's no easy way out (There's no shortcut home) there's no shortcut home (There's no easy way out) there's no easy, no easy No easy way out (There's no easy way out) (There's no shortcut home) (There's no easy way out)

All Along the Watchtower Song by Jimi Hendrix (ORIGINALLY Bob Dylan)
There must be some kind of way outta here Said the joker to the thief There's too much confusion I can't get no relief
Business men, they drink my wine Plowmen dig my earth None will level on the line Nobody offered his word Hey, hey
No reason to get excited The thief, he kindly spoke There are many here among us Who feel that life is but a joke But, uh, but you and I, we've been through that And this is not our fate So let us stop talkin' falsely now The hour's getting late, hey
Hey
All along the watchtower Princes kept the view While all the women came and went Barefoot servants, too Well, uh, outside in the cold distance A wildcat did growl Two riders were approaching And the wind began to howl, hey
All along the watchtower
All along the watchtower
