It's a 50th show folks so you know what that means... time to relive a classic show featuring the King of Rock Radio, the legendary Tommy Vance!
So the timing are as follows:
7pm: BRS Kicks off
715pm: The Friday Rock Show 21st December 1979 with The Moody Blues and the then new band Terra Nova in Session, and 3 tracks from the upcoming release of 'No Place To Run' by UFO, and songs from KISS, Tom Petty, Joe Walsh, Motorhead, Rolling Stones amongst others, and, of course, The Friday Night Connection.
1015pm: Come back to me for a classic live playout.
I'll be in the Forum posting throughout and also trying to solve the Connection along with you lot.
That's TV On The Radio on the BRS, at 7pm on Wednesday 24th September, only on REVOLUTIONONE!

Thanks and night night all, I enjoyed that!!

Goodnight, look after yourselves and I will see you all again tomorrow evening.
Goodnight Ladies and Gentlemen, take care everybody.
Legend.
My suspicions about Peter Cox from Terra Nova are right, he is the same Peter Cox who was in Go West in the 1980s.
Ah, Ian North. Still no idea but enjoyed that lol.
Who the bloody hell is this??? Any ideas?
Hmmm. Frampton, Free and Trower. no connection that I can see with the individuals or the song titles. Same record label?
Wonder what the connection is...
Think I am going to have to check out Terra Nova!
Gotta love a bit of Moody Blues.
CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!
