I can see why some people say this could be addressed to Mark, but it just looks like a wider love lost story to me. However, Clarkin's refusal to say what the song is about is like Corbyn refusing to say "sorry"- it just adds fuel to the fire. I must admit I have felt that TC and BC have tarnished their reputations somewhat with their digs at Mark in interviews etc.
As for the song, it was okay but I don't think it has the power of past releases.
