Blues Review of 2019 : Part 1 This year I have acquired over 150 new Blues and Blues-Rock albums (or EP's) and the plan is to play one track from nearly all albums over the last 4 shows in December. The final show (#220 : 30th December) will be my personal top 25 albums with the first three shows (#217 to #219) being the ones that didn't make it into the top 25 - but still great albums IMHO. So, for this week, we have artists starting with letters A to G; so expect Ally Venable, Altered Five Blues Band, The BB King Blues Band, Bruce Katz, Christone 'Kingfish' Ingram, Eric Gales, Gerry Joe Weise and many more. Come and join us at 7 pm on Monday on Revolution Radio Online for some chilled out tunes.
As promised last week, the second half of the show featuring 'Great Blues and Blues-Rock' with the tracks from Erja Lyytinen, Rebecca Downes, Tedeschi Trucks, Ben Poole, Aynsley Lister, Nimmo Brothers, Rory Gallagher, Head Hunters Blues Band, Mark Selby Allman Brothers, Cream and many many more. See you on Monday at 7 pm on Revolution Radio Online, Blues Brothers and Sisters, for some guaranteed 'weapons grade' Blues.
Continuing on from last week's theme of 'Great Blues and Blues-Rock' we have tracks from Catfish, Danny Bryant, Laurence Jones, Samantha Fish, Emma Wilson, BB King (and Van Morrison), BB King Blues Band, Chantel McGregor, Peter Frampton, Larkin Poe, Stevie Nimmo and many many more. Only problem was, how to get the playlist down from its current 5 hours. Hmmm... but solved that by adding in another 2 hours and making two shows out of it. Jobs a good 'un!!! See you on Monday at 7 pm on Revolution Radio Online, Blues Brothers and Sisters, for some guranteed 'weapons grade' Blues.
