This week is the 40th Monday/Tuesday Classical Corner and to celebrate that fact, we have a "Pianoforte" Special. (Note : A fortepiano is an early piano. In principle, the word "fortepiano" can designate any piano dating from the invention of the instrument by Bartolomeo Cristofori around 1700 up to the early 19th century.) So we will have piano pieces from Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Handel, Haydn, Grieg and more, who were all around (and composed piano pieces) during that period. Plus, of course, something from Wakeman and Einaudi!!
