Because of an added complication with an ongoing medical condition, we were forced to abandon our live New Year's Eve bash; however not wanting to let the event pass unacknowledged, we are going to repeat the 5 hour War of the Worlds special, along with 7 hours of awesome tunes with themes about the end of time/world and the renewal of things to come.
The running order is:
9pm: The BBC Radio Adaptation of The War of the Worlds. Full cast, sound effects and music score.
1130pm (approx): Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds!
1am (approx): Orson Welles' 1938 broadcast of War of the Worlds- the one that sent most of America running to the hills!
2am: The End of All Things, the Beginning of All Things. Rock tunes with New Year/New Start themes running through them!
9am: Hand back to normal DeePlay
