Do NOT Choose Wix for Your Web Partner

Here is an update to our problems with WIX. The only response we have had is to say that we needed to raise a separate ticket for our complaint (see HERE), which I tried to do only to find out that WIX have temporarily removed the ability to raise tickets. Subsequently I was instructed to send the complaint in a chat attachment, which I did.
To date, we have not had any response to any of our issues.
To be clear, 'Groups' is defined by WIX as their tool to help us build a community and engage with them, but how can any so called platform not have any live capability at all and still be called that?
Whilst it is true WIX have tweaked some of the minor issues not mentioned in my email, and implemented point 6, there is no movement on 9 of the main issues, as well as several problems with posting in it not listed above (e.g. cursor space under an image being so tight between that and box frame it takes several attempts to get it go in- made even worse with two so-called helpful pop ups getting in the way), and worse, the idiot in charge of the Development team has doubled down on the 'no need to do that' line he is holding.
In response, we have cancelled all our contracts with WIX (although we are stuck with them until January 2026) and are now looking not only for a new web host, but a new community engagement platform. We hope to start bringing you news on this in November.
In the meantime, no matter what WIX offer you, go elsewhere. They are simply not to be trusted to work for their customers. It pains me greatly to say this as we worked so closely with WIX over the years, but the ego of one senior manager has basically thrown all that away.
